where should i stay?
Cedar Lakes is a large property and will be able to house a number of guests, but unfortunately not everyone. To accommodate all, we’ll also have a hotel room block available in the area.
For those staying on site at Cedar Lakes, we’ve reached out via email to provide more information and details about booking.
-
what should i expect?
We’d like to welcome you to our wedding weekend festivities on Saturday. We have the property to ourselves starting on Saturday afternoon through brunch on Monday. Plan to enjoy what the property and surrounding area has to offer through the weekend.
Please visit the “Your Schedule” tab for more detailed information on what to expect.
-
Will there be transportation?
All events throughout the weekend will take place at Cedar Lakes (including both the ceremony and reception).
For those staying off site at the hotel, we will be providing transportation to/from the Wedding and after-party at Cedar Lakes on Sunday. For Saturday’s Welcome dinner, please plan your own transportation.
Note - Ubers in the area are limited so please plan accordingly.
-
What should I wear?
The Welcome Dinner - Dressy Casual. This means a button down and pants for men and elevated sundresses / jumpsuits for women.
The Wedding - Formal Attire. This means suits for men and full length dresses / jumpsuits for women.
We will provide additional attire guidance on the schedule & RSVP for your reference
Much of the weekend will take place on natural terrain. We recommend wedges and block heels.

What is there to do in the area?
There are a number of activities available onsite at Cedar Lakes and in the area. It is a rural area of upstate New York, so please plan accordingly for travel times.
Please visit the “Things to Do” page for more information.

What will the weather be like?
The weather this time of year in Port Jervis, NY is typically beautiful. Averages during the day are in the mid-70s, but it does tend to get cooler at night (mid-50s) given where it is located in the “mountains” so we recommend bringing a light jacket for the evenings.

can i bring my kids?
While we love all of your little ones, we’ve decided to make this an adults only weekend.
